Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
Dawn Farm Foods is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain Department, to be based in our head offices in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The Supply Chain Planner will be primarily responsible for supporting the planning functions to ensure customer demand is satisfied by generating, monitoring, and driving achievable production plans and schedules based on the target run rates and yields for each product and line.
Positions: Full-Time, Permenant.
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland.
Salary: DOE
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Mon. - Fri.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure production plans are designed to maximise efficiencies by considering demand, capacity, and resources, whilst adhering to the planning food safety & quality standards.
- Co-ordinate an effective forecasting & demand planning process and accumulate data from multiple sources for Demand Planning analytics.
- Work closely with other key stakeholders throughout the business to gather and share information to ensure people, materials and machines are available to achieve the plan.
- Drive operational efficiencies and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- In addition, the Planner will support other functions within supply chain e.g. scheduling, ordering, materials stock management.
- Support the development, maintenance & execution of the production plan to maximise efficiency, volume and to maintain customer service levels
- Communicate effectively with team members, senior managers, supervisors and general operators on all production related queries
- Liaise with the Customer Interface team to ensure effective communication on capacity, lead times or issues that may affect the supply to our customers
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and all other departments to support their functions
- Update Production Reports and communicate to all necessary departments
- Efficient problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
