We are on the lookout for an experienced supply chain professional to join our highly successful and growing team.

Responsibilities:

In addition to other regular and ad hoc tasks, you will:

  • Develop supply plans against forecasts for the suppliers to procure, manufacture and ship against.
  • Work with suppliers to obtain best procurement pricing, delivery scheduling and optimizing as best as possible just in time material operating model.
  • Liaise with external suppliers regarding any quality control issues and continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier performance.
  • Track and ensure raised Purchase Orders are on schedule and provide timely communication to LAP Management of any supply delays so impacts and/or alternative resolutions can be managed.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver timely communications on stock availability, work with them on demand forecast changes and ensure product supply

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a purchasing or supply planning role
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
  • High organisational skills (ability to multi-task; manage and prioritise multiple requests at one time)
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • Intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft programs including Excel and Outlook
  • Highly self-motivated with high attention to detail
  • Diploma/degree in associated business discipline is desire
