Your tasks
- to manage the flow of materials and search for solutions to fulfill customer demands on standard/hardware materials
- to ensure the accuracy of requirements submitted to suppliers and develope creative ideas to meet urgent needs
- to communicate demand to suppliers, place and track orders, analyze delivery delays and manage recovery plans
- to actively participate in the definition and negotiation of logistic processes
- to monitor the performance of the supply chain in day-to-day business
- to regularly communicate with internal customers about the progress of the order
Your qualifications
- a successfully completed degree in engineering, supply chain/logistics or business administration
- or a successfully completed training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or forwarding merchant (m/f/d) with many years of professional experience
- professional experience in the areas of controlling, scheduling/material procurement, logistics, supply chain and customer service
- knowledge of SAP
- business fluent English and basic German language skills
- a responsible way of working, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
