The opportunity
- An opportunity for a Supply Relationship Manager to join our Property Supply Chain Team reporting directly to the Head of Property Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
An exciting opening is available for a Supply Relationship Manager who will establish, monitor and control property insurance claims management standards and techniques, including managing suppliers to ensure the provision of an effective, economic, efficient and prompt claims management service for our customers.
In this position will see you:
- Provide technical direction, leadership and coaching to claims professionals, partners and providers
- Deal with a selection of property claims impacting the business, by having proactive and reactive strategies in place
- Provide technical expertise and business acumen as a key interface to develop QBE’s partnerships with providers
- Plan, manage and review performance of partners and providers via on-site and remote audits, claims reviews and referrals
- Manage vendor relations to develop optimum outcomes
- Monitor trends and recommend and/or implement appropriate strategies to address emerging issues
- Participate in appropriate forums to represent Property Supply Chain.
- Continuously improving relevant model/s and processes to add value to the organisation
- Manage vendor relations to develop optimum outcomes & cost performance
- Documenting changes to calculations and procedures in a timely and clear manner
- Develop, implement and communicate property claims management strategies and plans
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Sound knowledge of procurement and supply frameworks and practices
- Sound knowledge of the insurance and building industry
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools including Excel
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytic skill
