Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Build trusting relationships with families to increase their safety, stability , wellbeing, and capacity
- Communicate with families openly and with respect for differences in personal, family, and cultural beliefs and values.
- Alongside families and other key stakeholders identify issues impacting on them and the support required to address these issues.
- Work with Case Worker to develop, maintain and review tailored case management plans to address areas of concern.
- Support clients to attend meetings
- Develop an exit strategy for clients from the program that provides for the continued provision of external support where required.
ABOUT YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of local services and community
- A knowledge of Child Protection procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with children/young people and adults in different situations.
- Ability to write case notes and reports
- Full, clean open (not provisional) West Australian driver’s licence
- Must have a current ‘paid employment’ Working with Children card for WA
- Have a current ‘First Aid’ certificate
- Statutory Checks will be completed on all new staff as part of our recruitment process
