POSITION AVAILABLE: SUPPORT WORKER

Location: Ipswich, CSS East
Salary: £23,200 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week (overtime available)
About the Role: We’re currently seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist a young man in Ipswich, with autism, and learning disabilities within the community the person we support activities range. From day trips to horse riding adventures, our supported individuals cherish various activities, including cinema outings, swimming sessions, holidays, and work placements. No two days are alike, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage individuals in day-to-day living activities, maximizing community involvement.
  • Facilitate social activities and foster connections with family and friends.
  • Assist in manging individuals’ finances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and freshness in individuals’ homes and accompany them for shopping.
  • Provide and encourage personal care with compassion and respect.
  • Embrace the joy of making a difference every day!
