  We have a very dedicated team that puts their heart into the community and are able to care for clients with all needs including complex care, brain Injury, autism, intellectual disability and mental health. We are looking for motivated, compassionate, empathetic individuals to support our clients to live their best life.
  We are seeking Support Workers in the Nelson area, to join our highly motivated team to engage with our client in supporting them to live their lives, in their communities, in ways that are meaningful to them.

To join our team you need to be:

• A great communicator and able to use a variety of communication strategies (eg: social media, texting, non-verbal communication aids)
• Able to commit to a client(s) for an extended period of time
• Willing to continually up skill your knowledge by attending information and training opportunities
• Able to work within a framework that celebrates the strengths of the client and proactively supports them to live their good life
• Able to work in a role that is akin to a combination of life-coaching, support work, companionship and being motivational.
• Good with written skills as fortnightly progress reporting is required.

Essential skills required:

• Have some weekend availability
• Are experienced in (or willing to be trained) in progress notes report writing.
• You must have your own vehicle and a Full drivers license
• Have a passion for helping people
