Description:
ARE YOU EXPERIENCED IN MANAGING A SUPPORTED LIVING OR YOUTH SERVICES TEAM?
At Platform we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Supported Living Operations Manager to join us and support the continuous improvement of the service. The Specialist Housing Team provides services to help the most vulnerable people in our communities by providing a range of supported housing options.
As Support Living Operations Manager you will ensure effective day to day operational management of Platform’s Supported Living Portfolio on a group wide basis including temporary homeless accommodation, learning disability accommodation, commissioned services, including Young People’s Services and a Falls Response Service.
The role will allow you to work amongst an incredibly supportive team, as well as having the opportunity to mentor others. Whilst this is a home-based role, you will be required to travel to group offices and schemes regularly to support your team.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING AS AN SUPPORTED LIVING OPERATIONS MANAGER:
- Inspire and encourage a team culture which reflects and embeds our People Values, behaviours and encourages people to bring their best to work.
- Hold regular team meetings to focus on delivering team action plans, good performance and continuous improvement.
- Lead responsibility for day-to-day management of group wide Supported Living Services, providing a first class experience to our customers, colleagues and all stakeholders through effective people, places, process and contract management.
- Effectively monitor, manage and negotiate contracts and commissioned service contract obligations. You will also write tender submissions and develop implementation plans.
- Assist with setting and monitoring delegated budgets
