Underwriting Support Specialist, Surety - Toronto
The Underwriting Support Specialist is a critical member of the National Surety Team, providing operational and administrative support to a growing team of Surety Underwriters across Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, Commerce, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ in a corporate office environment, an asset.
  • Bilingual communication skills, both written and verbal in English/French, an asset.
  • Experience in a legal environment an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Review documents for data entry.
  • Prepare documents, presentations and reports as required.
  • Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing communication.
  • Generate monthly reports, review for accuracy and distribute to internal and external clients.
  • Analyze various reports to support operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brokers.
  • Assist underwriters to deliver exceptional service to our client brokers.
