Description:
1 Year Fixed Term based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
We are looking to recruit one Medical Undergraduate Teaching Fellow who will work as part of our integrated multi professional team and will focus on enhancing undergraduate education within the Trust. It is open to trainees above the grade of FY2 in any grade/specialty
Deliver required teaching sessions for the post
Produce, coordinate and evaluate students timetables
Attend weekly team meetings
Participate in examination skills, clinical skills, simulation training and bedside teaching
Work with UG Team to organise and ensure smooth running of OSCE and PACES exams
Contribute to educational development and quality improvement
Promote educational research
Provide welfare support for students
Design and implement projects to develop new learning opportunities
Support a wide range of surgical specialties, including Trauma & Orthopaedics, ENT, critical care, etc
You will join dynamic and friendly teams and will be the point of contact for medical students who are on clinical placements at the Trust. You will teach the students directly, and also coordinate and arrange a diversity of medical education sessions.

Medical qualification with registration at the GMC
Eligible to enter core training (post Foundation Year 2)

Strong interest and involvement in medical education and previous experience of successful delivery of teaching
Experience working as a doctor in an NHS Trus

Awareness of current educational initiatives with regard to: patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, cross-speciality training
