Role Responsibilities
Plan work to achieve sales revenue targets for defined territory in Queensland ( Northern Suburbs of Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, to regional areas including Bundaberg etc.), including financial metrics related to top-line growth, and market share.
Establish strong relationships within a comprehensive network of accounts and stakeholders
Assist the overall surgical team by promoting the surgical range of products when in the Operating Theatre with a particular focus on IOLs. Where required, provide education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff.
Service customer enquiries promptly and referring to management if assistance is required and maintain close communication with the local account team members, including Field Service engineer (FSE) and Clinical Application Specialist (CAS).
Build subject matter expertise in ophthalmology
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in orthoptics, science or business
Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management
5+ years Medical Devices sales experiences preferred

Understanding of the MTAA code of practice

  • Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures and product technology
