ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a global leader in securities and trading, recognized for their excellence in regulatory compliance and innovation.
They are seeking a Market surveillance specialist to drive their compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to financial regulations for their Singapore office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in securities/derivatives trading for trade/ market surveillance
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and address potential market misconduct to ensure a fair, orderly, and transparent market.
• Develop and implement frameworks to enhance trade surveillance and investigate market misconduct.
• Monitor market activity through daily analysis of trading alerts and escalation of suspicious behavior to regulators.
• Collaborate with regulators and law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Assist the Corporate Secretary in matters related to corporate governance and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain effective communication with shareholders and the Board of Directors.
• Assist in reviewing whistleblowing complaints and disciplinary breaches.
