YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Survey Manager to support the Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A project. The role will be focused on leading the survey and data management function and coordinating all survey control, model design and survey activities.
Your responsibilities in the role will include:
- Managing project survey operation requirements including total station, GPS, machine guidance and laser scanning technologies
- Organising and working with subcontracted survey crews
- Implementation of project survey processes including survey control networks, detailed design survey, construction set-out, as-built survey, survey data management systems and QA requirements
- Development of machine control
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Ideally, over 5 years’ experience as a Survey Manager on civil and rail projects
- Certification in Surveying
- Strong attitude and awareness of safety
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience managing a surveying team
- Competency in survey software packages such as 12d, Terramodel
- Competency in CAD/drafting software packages such as Autocad, Microstation
This role is based in Canberra. You will have the option of Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) or an attractive relocation package that includes removalist costs.
