InterMoor are currently looking to add a Surveyor to their Aberdeen team on a full-time permanent basis. The Surveyor will be responsible for mobilising, operating, and maintaining survey and positioning equipment on a variety of vessels including but not limited to MODU’s, AHV’s and FPSO’s.

Duties

  • Mobilise and demobilise survey equipment offshore on a variety of vessels.
  • Interface, calibrate and QC positioning survey sensors offshore.
  • Operate online software during operations.
  • Create and maintain vessel information database
  • Processing a variety of survey data to produce as-built charts and final reports, during and after every project
  • Conduct Dimensional Control Survey of platforms to install survey control networks and determine platform position and heading
  • Assist in development of in-house survey procedures and survey software.

Requirements

  • HNC/HND/BSC In Marine Science, Geomatics, Hydrogaphy Discipline or relevant experience is essential
  • An understanding of Engineering drawings, processes, and procedures is essential with offshore experience in Positioning and Inspection Sensors
  • Experience in Vessel and ROV Mobilisations, installation of positioning and inspection sensors would be preferred but not essential
  • Experience in surface/subsea positioning, acoustic communications, and photogrammetry would be preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms with highly effective inter-personal skills supported by good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, complex and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to promote best practice and QHSE compliance, raising standards through demonstration of own behaviours
