Description:

Job Description
The purpose of the role is to support the ongoing stewardship activities of the Active Ownership team and to bring ESG expertise on investment matters to our investors and clients, with a focus on engagement, voting and reporting.
Role Profile

Engagement/Integration

  • Support engagement on ESG matters with our investment companies
  • Supporting colleagues on different investment desks with ESG related queries

Voting

  • Responsible for oversight and implementation of Environmental & Social resolution process
  • Carry out analysis of Environmental & Social resolutions
  • Carry out analysis of general meeting agendas
  • Provide support to voting oversight process
  • Contribute to voting policy development

Reporting

  • Assist with the company’s engagement & reporting process
  • Assist in the production of public reporting including the annual Stewardship Report

Client/Stakeholder Management

  • Provide responses to internal and external queries related to our Active Ownership activities
  • Support with client requests including RFP review

Candidates should have a flexible and adaptable working approach to accommodate changing priorities of the team and business

Key Outcomes

  • E&S resolution process carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Company engagement carried out to a high standard to provide insights to investment desk and other stakeholders
  • Voting analysis and related engagement conducted to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Reporting produced on time and to a high standard
  • Close and constructive working relationships formed with investment teams and other internal stakeholders related to our stewardship activities

Role Requirements

  • Relevant experience in the investment industry
  • A good knowledge and understanding of financial markets and ESG topics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
