The Urbis Sustainability, Net Zero and Decarbonisation team operates at the intersection of energy, economics, design, planning, policy and commerce to assist clients through sustainability and net zero solutions to optimise, increase and retain the value of their developments, investments, acquisitions, existing assets, operations, and policies towards a net zero and sustainable future.
We provide strategic and technical advice on diverse engagements – ranging from net zero pathways, decarbonisation strategies, portfolio management, asset decarbonisation, sustainability strategies, and energy transition advisory.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are continuing to grow our Sustainability team at Urbis, buoyed by our successful engagements including advising community housing associations on their decarbonisation pathways, advising developers on their Sustainability and ESG precinct strategies, assisting governments to shape and deliver the 2032 Olympic climate positive legacy strategy, and partnering with a major corporate to navigate Australia’s energy transition.
This is an opportunity to join the Sustainability, Net Zero and Decarbonisation team as we continue on our trajectory to become one of the leading sustainability advisory firms in Australia.
We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant/Advisor to join our Sustainability, Net Zero and Decarbonisation team based in our Melbourne office to support the Melbourne and National Sustainability team. We are seeking motivated and knowledgeable people to play an integral assisting and supporting our clients tackle the complex sustainability and decarbonisation challenges facing cities and regions across Australia and abroad.
You will be involved in meaningful and impactful project work across global, national, industry, state, precinct, portfolio and building levels – assisting in the energy transition of Australia towards a decarbonised and net zero future. The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities to develop and learn across multiple disciplines and sectors.
