Sustainability Engineer - 3 Month Contract

The Role
Our leading Interior Fit Out Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Sustainability Engineer to join their team at EXPO City, Dubai. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Sustainability Engineer with LEED GA Certification ideally working on high profile, high end interior fit out projects and contracts in the UAE. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: Perform all the duties, roles, & responsibilities of LEED AP to achieve LEED rating system with a target credit point. Monitor & control the site construction activities to assure compliance with LEED requirements and to address any non-conformance and recommend the required corrective action. Providing Environmental consultancy, while preparing technical reports with the help of data collection, site visits, liaison with client and relevant authorities. Responsible for EIA, PER, CEMP, Waste Management Plans. Verify on all submittals (Drawings and Materials) to ensure their compliance with LEED before submitting to consultant for approval. Coordinate Testing and Commissioning Process with LEED requirements to assure solid conformity related Credit Points. Prepare & Develop LEED Construction Rating Final Submission Folder to be submitted for LEED Approval. Prepare technical reports, monthly reports, cover letters, documents transmittals with proper referencing.
Requirements
Sustainability Engineer (LEED AP) Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferable to be Environmental Engineering Min 3-5 years total work experience with minimum 2 yrs experience in the UAE required. Candidates must have completed a reasonable number of multiple projects with LEED rating. Candidates must be based in the UAE. LEED Accredited Professional by U.S. Green Buildings Council (LEED AP BD+C) is mandatory.
