Responsibilities:

- Degree qualified in relevant sciences, accounting, commerce, or a related discipline.
- Certification in ESG frameworks and reporting (Desirable).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
- Understanding of the Australian agricultural sector and an interest in working with the rural community to achieve a productive, sustainable land sector.
- Strong technical ESG accounting and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Support the Head of Environment and Sustainability with the ongoing development of the sustainability strategy and its implementation.
- Lead the ongoing development and implementation of AACo’s ESG reporting program, including alignment with key global reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal counterparts to secure external investment and funding for sustainability projects.
- Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships to ensure communication channels remain open.
- Work closely with the Head of Risk to implement the ongoing climate and nature risk assessment and management process.
- Partner with the Head of Environment and Sustainability to prepare budgets, analyse financial data, and compare planned budgets and actual expenditures, to facilitate reports and increase financial transparency.
- Contribute to broader Sustainability initiatives and the effectiveness of the Sustainability team with a strong focus on making a difference
