Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Lead Analytics Engineer to join our Corporate Sustainability and Reporting team. The role will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the reporting needs of the business stakeholders are met which will involve delivery (including requirements capture, design, build, deploy and maintenance) and utilisation of data products to satisfy stakeholders and sustainability legislation compliance obligations.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up type environment where collaboration and results which propel Dyson on it’s journey towards Sustainability are critical. You’ll build strong relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of actionable reportingdecision useful and compliance-critical information. The role will both allow Dyson to fulfil its sustainability reporting obligations and facilitate improved understanding of the ESG status within Dyson.
This position reports to the Sustainability Analytics Manager and is based in Malmesbury, England.

You will:

  • Lead development of Dyson’s annual ESG reporting, ensuring alignment with reporting frameworks and stakeholder expectations
  • Define, lLead development of and maintain data models with enrichment where necessary
  • Produce and support a suite of ESG dashboards with clear and actionable insights and engaging visualisations
  • Enable the business to make sound Sustainability decisions, calling on business understanding and insights from data
  • Drive business transformation through robust relationships with the use of data, analytics, and great communication
  • Prepare the business for legislation changes by proactively identifying and solving data challenges
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through robust testing and validation
  • Support with the development of a data and analytics strategy to drive future direction
  • Lead in the identification and implementation of data quality and performance improvements
  • Maintain appropriate records, guidance materials and documentation to ensure good controls and governance
  • Be willing to be flexible in tasks and activities taken on
  • Thrive on change with an ability to deliver under pressure
