Description:

The Sustainability Manager will oversee all environmental and sustainability matters within the Club. This includes strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of practices that integrate environmental, social, and economic considerations into the Club’s operations.
He/She is to define, create and implement strategies to support sustainability initiatives that will help to encourage better eco-friendly tactics, social equality, and financial success for the Club by reducing the carbon footprint, natural resources including power, water, building material, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainability framework, strategies & priorities and establish goals in consultation with senior management.
  • Ensure sustainability policies, strategies and priorities align with Club’s long-term sustainability plan.
  • Work with various department to incorporate sustainability practices and set conservation and environmental goals.
  • Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance and use of sustainability management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposes.
  • Establish sustainability partnership programs through outreach, with internal, external stakeholders and appointed ESG consultants.
  • Collaborate and work closely with consultants to ensure compliance for ESG accreditations.
  • Keep abreast with trends and industry-leading practices in sustainability.
  • Manage and track Club’s sustainability goals and metrics, analyze data and produce regular reports.
  • Provide sustainability guidelines & communications (both internal and external) and training for employees across the Club to cultivate sustainability culture.
  • Develop and implement Reduce, Reuse and Recycle strategies and ensure effectiveness of the program.
