Sustainability Specialist (f/m/d), 80-100%

We are looking for a sustainability specialist to lead the sustainability activities within the Business Division Switzerland. You will work closely with our Group sustainability team on the sustainable business transformation of Alpiq as well as developing sustainability strategies and you will be responsible for executing it on a divisional level. You will partner with our specialists and existing teams to reinforce Alpiq’s sustainability practices and make our projects, business and products more sustainable.

• Support the development of sustainability strategies in collaboration with our Group sustainability team and direct the strategy execution for the Division Switzerland, ensuring the alignment with the Group-wide targets
• Implement corporate sustainability targets at the divisional level. Engage in regular monitoring of performance to ensure the division’s alignment with sustainability goals
• Spearhead the divisional implementation of Group sustainability policies, commitments, and regulations
• Contribute to the preparation of our annual sustainability report and ensure the divisional data collection
• Initiate and lead optimization projects aimed at reducing the ESG impact, such as the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from assets
• Offer guidance, as well as subject-matter expertise, fostering a culture of sustainability within the division
• Operative involvement and cooperative works with the environment experts of the division
• Steering of sustainability projects in the Division, represent Alpiq on diverse occasions, support and contribute to stakeholder involvement and management
