TGRC is working with an asset manager who is currently looking for a Sustainable Development Investment Manager to join their team in Germany.
The company is a global impact asset manager concentrating on sustainable development worldwide. It specializes in developing and advising impact investment funds that use blended finance structures to engage public and private investors in addressing climate change, enhancing biodiversity conservation, promoting sustainable use of natural resources, improving livelihoods, and creating economic opportunities.
Throughout its operations, the company has deployed over EUR 5 billion towards these objectives worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Origination: Actively identify investment prospects in the renewable energy sector (with a focus on wind and solar PV) through market research, networking, and industry connections
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, encompassing financial analysis, operational assessment, risk evaluation, and presenting investment proposals to the Investment Committee
  • Investment Execution: Lead end-to-end deal execution in direct equity investments, covering structuring (debt and equity), negotiation, and closing transactions in greenfield, repowering, and late-stage development assets across renewable and energy transition technologies in targeted jurisdictions
  • Additionally, negotiation of contracts for projects, including SPA, O&M, TCMA, MSA, TSA, EPC
  • Portfolio Management: Collaborate with asset management to drive operational improvements, strategic growth initiatives, and value creation
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors affecting classic sectors
  • Investor Relations: Engage with limited partners and stakeholders, providing insights into investment strategies and portfolio performance
  • Lastly, lead a team of Investment Management Associates and Analysts
