Closed-loop recycling in the textile industry is a new and fast-growing segment of the industry with the potential to have a huge positive impact.
circular. fashion is a Berlin-based innovation agency which has been a leader in this space since 2017, with several ongoing projects influencing EU and global policies and standards.
circular. fashion has created circular design criteria as well as a Circular Design Software, a digital platform for circular design and closed-loop recycling, and renders consultancy and workshops to enable fashion brands to incorporate circularity into the core of their business. We provide industry knowledge and methods that help brands transitioning towards circular practices.
We also collaborate with universities in developing cutting edge technologies for the circular economy where we are developing a garment classification system via computer vision and material analysis spectroscopy for textile sorters.
circular. fashion unifies an international team of 15 people with interdisciplinary backgrounds of textile, design, software engineering, business and sustainability. You will have many opportunities for learning, creativity, and growth.
Tasks
We are looking for an additional Project Manager with a strong background on textile materials to complement our team. You will get insight in highly relevant and innovative industry processes of textile recycling and work with Circular Design Criteria, Verification and Certification Processes.

Skills & Experience

• a wide knowledge about textile material paired with an interest in research about current developments and novelties
• a self-sufficient way of working while still being a dedicated team player
• At least 3 years of experience preferably in either the textile or sustainability sector
• an analytical mind with a high sense of responsibility
• openness to support digital solutions
• English at professional level, some knowledge of German is an asset
• Willingness to travel
• residence in Berlin or surrounding is a strong asse

• presenting your expertise on material, regulations and certificates in workshops, masterclasses, and consultancy sessions
• conducting research on material and current developments in circular materials & design as well as developments in regulations
• consulting global brands and retailers on circular design criteria
• helping develop our criteria in close cooperation with your colleagues (regular updates as well as expansion into new areas) based on user testing
• onboarding new clients on our Criteria Software
• managing client projects like verification processes and certifications
• creating & updating resources for e.g. sales/workshops/masterclasses, presenting on these topics

Benefits
Compensation is defined by a fully transparent growth and reward framework that our team designed collaboratively and is calculated by a formula that depends on a combination of experience, level of responsibility, and tenure at circular. fashion. Yearly gross salary ranges between 50-60.000€ based on 40h/week.
