Description:

Approve credit facilities for investment banking clients (large corporates/global MNC portfolio)
Credit oversight and monitoring of portfolio
Support the Head, Credit Risk with overall portfolio management

Duties:

  • Make recommendation to Credit Committees on all proposals in compliance with Group Credit Policy.
  • Oversee client/deal due diligence
  • Partner with business to ensure risks are identified during the credit proposal process.
  • Oversight and control of credit portfolio.
  • Guide credit officers and business on structuring of credit facilities
  • Partner with business to grow portfolio and enhance relationships.
  • Help structure creative solutions to support deals/transactions.
  • Advise on risks for complex transactions.
  • Attend client visits / calls.
  • Update credit policy, ratings, etc as required
  • Manage / mentor junior credit officers

Profile:

  • 15 – 20 years’ relevant banking experience (from a global wholesale bank)
  • 10+ years in a credit risk role (covering corporates/MNCs)
  • Knowledge of investment banking business / deals useful
