OpusVi is backed by some of the largest healthcare groups in the United States, and as the Senior Vice President of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial strategy and planning of OpusVi. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the finance team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure the company’s financial health and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record (8+ years) in finance leadership roles, preferably within the health-tech and/or edtech industry, with experience in start-ups or high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience in dealing with outside groups such as VC, PE and funds involved in the tech space as well as mature investors and large shareholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, financial planning, and managing capital in a dynamic business environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and maximizing customer lifetime value, especially in a subscription-based or recurring revenue model.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term goals, contributing to overall growth and profitability.
  • Sets the direction for the management of financial resources to achieve financial and operational efficiencies, effectiveness, sustainability and improved outcomes and share regular financial and operational input and reports to the leadership team and the board members.
  • Lead the financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support decision-making processes and resource allocation.
  • To lead regular operation cost analysis audits with underlying performance metrics
  • To work with the CEO to manage fundraising activities, including securing investment, debt financing, and capital structuring to support the company’s growth plans.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Implement a risk management framework to identify and mitigate financial risks, establish risk management strategies, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
  • Drives innovation throughout the financial and corporate service functions to achieve cost savings and increased efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, investors in particular, and strategic partners to support financial objectives and drive business growth.
  • Experience in structuring and managing financial aspects of partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
