KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in writing code in Python or Swift or Objective -C to test API and Test Framework
• Extensive knowledge in creating Test Framework, creating sample test apps for API testing. Writing test cases for code coverage.
• 5+ years of experience crafting, maintaining and executing test plans.
• Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
• Resourceful self-starter with a keen eye for details, focused on end-user experiences
• Able to make consistently good judgment calls on which issues can be self-resolved, and which require escalation
• Adept at writing actionable bug reports using software like Bugzilla and Jira.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and provide detailed debug information for defects to ensure speedy resolution
• Experience working with complex software stacks with many software and hardware components. Examples: Smartphones, PCs, game engines & consoles, HMDs

• Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.Easily adaptable in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and demanding environment.

DESCRIPTION

Description
This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills. Your responsibilities will include creating sample apps to test API, creating Test automation framework and API testing. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will help with developing and maintaining automated test suites for exercising various features of visionOS spatial compute applications and continuously look for ways to improve and enhance system reliability and performance.It will also include functional testing of new features on visionOS, design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, prioritizing and escalating critical bugs, and integration testing across Apple platforms. You will be responsible for setting the bar high within your own areas of expertise and frequently collaborating with team members beyond your areas to ensure we ship the superb end-to-end experiences necessary for robust and amazing products. As a cross-functional advocate for quality, you’ll work closely with our development and automation engineers, developing test plans and user studies, bug triaging, and supporting design reviews.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience
-BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience -Minimum professional experience of 5 years

Additional Requirements

• Experience with testing consumer electronics, mobile applications and experiences
• Proficiency with Apple computing technologies like iOS, visionOS beta and Xcode & Swift fundamentals preferred but not required
• Very comfortable sharing considered opinions, taking the time to get details right, and staying true to the bigger picture
