Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled SWIFT Developer to join our team and provide comprehensive support and maintenance for SWIFT messaging systems including Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH), SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SwiftNet Link (SNL), and hardware Security Module (HSM). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SWIFT messaging protocols and a proven track record in troubleshooting, maintenance, and project management within SWIFT environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and Maintenance:

  • Troubleshoot messages and processes within SWIFT messaging systems.
  • Perform monthly maintenance changes and update SWIFT systems with security patches and annual upgrades.
  • Engage in the implementation of Standard Release (SR) projects annually.
  • Assist users/clients in SR projects and onboarding client back-office applications with SWIFT interfaces.
  • Address BAU user queries regarding message status, NACK reasons, and other swift format issues.
  • Engage in documentation and generation of Mean Time to Mend (MTTM) for each incident encountered.
  • Set up communication channels such as WebSphere MQ, create MQHA message partners, and define routing rules and keywords for proper message authentication.

Project Management Skills:

  • Actively participate in priority incidents, change requests, and disaster recovery management.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence efficiently for project management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance and support for critical SWIFT payments applications.
  • Offer full lifecycle support to clients from initial interaction and requirements analysis to design, testing, debugging, implementation, and integration.
  • Provide ongoing application enhancement, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Customize products to meet client requirements, including changes to existing code for adding new functionalities.
  • Conduct client meetings, understand their problems, and provide immediate solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting and maintaining SWIFT messaging systems including AMH, SAA, SAG, SNL, and HSM.
  • Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging protocols and standards.
  • Experience in project management, including handling priority incidents, change requests, and disaster recovery management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
