Hampstead Hospital & Residential Treatment Facility (HHRTF) is an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital and a residential treatment program that treats children, adolescents, and young adults. HHRTF is located in a beautiful setting in southern New Hampshire that provides plenty of outdoor areas to play, walk, and promote well-being. Children deserve to have healthy and happy childhoods so that they can grow into wholesome and happy adults. Our devoted team is here to provide these children, adolescents, and young adults with the encouragement and positive relationships to build a brighter tomorrow.
How you make a difference:
The Switchboard Receptionist Hampstead is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, and taking messages as needed. Additionally, the Switchboard Receptionist Hampstead may be asked to perform other administrative duties such as managing the visitor log, distributing meal tickets, and sorting mail. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform receptionist duties such as taking messages, screening vendors, and welcoming visitors.
  • Manage emergencies, notify appropriate personnel for problems with telephone and alarm systems.
  • Maintain administrative tasks such as selling meal tickets, reviewing and typing admission information, and monitoring copy machines.
  • Collaborate with Medical Director and Medical Physicians to manage doctor’s monthly schedules.
  • Contribute to team effort, meet quality and productivity standards, and promote a culture of patient safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum of high school graduate

Experience

  • Some general office and/or switchboard/receptionist experience desired.
  • Typing ability helpful, as well as some computer knowledge.
