JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join Leighs we are recruiting for an IT Systems Administrator, based in Auckland. Reporting directly to our National Technology Manager, this role plays a vital role in leading our IT team to technical infrastructure by configuring, managing, and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, and networks.
As the Systems Administrator, your key responsibilities include:
- Managing and administering Windows 11, Office 365, Intune, and Azure environments.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Undertaking IT projects as instructed by the National Technology Manager and IT Project Manager.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Your role will involve managing small to medium-sized IT projects and addressing complex issues within an enterprise environment. This includes monitoring system performance, security events, and hardware failures, and providing prompt resolutions. You’ll also deliver technical support to end-users, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and maintain updated documentation for system configurations and procedures. Additionally, you’ll assist with new hardware and software deployments, ensure effective IT support services, and collaborate with external vendors for hardware and software procurement.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in level 1 and 2 support in an SME/corporate environment.
- Understanding of monitoring Microsoft Intune and Azure environments.
- Strong technical knowledge including Microsoft 365 systems and networking infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
Responsibilities:
