Description:

Join Wesbury’s IT Team as a System Administrator and play a pivotal role in monitoring, updating, and maintaining the backbone of our technological infrastructure! At Wesbury, you’ll have the opportunity to help, learn and grow while assisting the staff, visitors, and residents every day!

JOB SUMMARY:

Installs, tests, monitors, upgrades, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, networks, and software peripherals. Manages user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Collaborate with staff from other departments to complete projects and resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree or equivalent experience required and at least one year of experience.
Works under supervision of Director of IT but must have the ability to work independently including good customer service, work well with others, problem solving and good time management skills and professionalism.
Perform the physical requirements of the position which include standing, bending, and lifting.
Work well with others; treat residents, co-workers, and staff with care and respect.
Adhere to all Wesbury personnel policies as they apply to the workplace.

Responsibilities:

Maintain internal infrastructure including computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
Perform server administration tasks through Active Directory, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, and print services ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
Supports major operating systems and software packages – Windows Server 2008-2019, Windows 10 & 11, VMWare, eMar, MS Office Suite, Exchange, etc.
Writes, updates, and maintains computer programs or software packages.
Provides support, direction, and oversight for in-house phone system.
Install cabling and peripheral components for new and existing network connections.
Maintains IT documentation.
Assists with management of printers, leased printers and copiers; maintains toner inventory for copiers and printers.
