Gain introductory knowledge of ongoing facility applications and the regulatory framework as well as strong understanding of our service areas, customer base, and offerings.
Support a wider variety of operational inquiries in multiple transmission systems.
Participate in the regulatory process by providing input to applications or information requests.
Gain a deeper understanding of annual departmental processes and participate in those functions with support from senior team members. What it takes:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution, plus one to four years of recent and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in hydraulic modelling of gas distribution and transmission systems would be considered an asset.
Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention-to-detail.
Exceptional analytical thinking skills to interpret complex data across a variety of units of measure.
A demonstrated aptitude for computer systems, data processing and specialized software.
