Our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. With capabilities covering end-to-end the complete Development and New Product Introduction process we are managing and implementing global platform projects, tailored for our Original Equipment customers.
Job Description
Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate System Design Student Engineer to join our XC Department on a full-time basis for 12-months commencing June 2024.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our XC team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:

  • Contribute to feature and functional development, including requirements development, concept development and defect management and analysis
  • Conduct investigations or tests, and evaluate results and analyse data obtained
  • Ensure that all documentation required to support a product’s introduction into production is available as required and its quality is to the expected level
  • Contribute to improving product designs to reduce costs, improve quality/reliability, and increase productivity
  • Proactively search for potential risks, investigate solutions to mitigate those risks and escalate where applicable in early stage

Qualifications
You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled in and completed units towards an Engineering Undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect Management Lifecycle
  • Have an understanding in test methodology and test design
  • Demonstrate an ability in requirement engineering and cascading requirements to other areas
