YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in Physics or Engineering (Diploma, Master’s, or Doctorate).
• Exceptional analytical abilities paired with a self-driven, conceptual, and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Global perspective and enthusiasm for collaborative, interdepartmental work.
• Methodical and organized work ethic, with strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, a sense of responsibility, and a focus on service and customer satisfaction.
• Proven track record in the development of complex products incorporating optical, optoelectronic, or microtechnical elements, ideally within an industrial setting.
• Expertise in manufacturing technologies specific to optics and precision engineering, with experience in international client, partner, and supplier engagement highly valued.
• Proficient in project management with a solid understanding of intellectual property (IP) rights and confidentiality protocols.
• Fluent in German and business-level proficiency in English.

• Systems Engineer in frame of projects for advanced optical systems, collaborating closely with top-tier clients from the optical sector, demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
• Take ownership of optical system design and generate, review and improve comprehensive specifications.
• Guide the transition of developed optical products from prototype to mass production.
• Engage in detailed technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the technical cross-functional point-of-contact for development, manufacturing, sales, and product management teams.
• Coordinate with external development partners and component suppliers.
