Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of project specific documentation such as (but not limited to):
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- Network Diagrams
- Device Schedules
- Testing Workbooks & Commissioning Documentation
- Points lists for interfaced systems
- Software Design Flow Charts
- Development of HMI/GUI User Interfaces by creating new or updating existing software graphics, diagrams, configurations, and databases.
- Hardware configuration, communication setup and “in-house” testing of developed solutions.
- Ability to solve problems logically and troubleshoot system faults.
- Follow department procedures and participate in the development of new and existing best practices, procedures and template documentation.
- Be able to collaborate with team members as well as work alone.
- Administration in the management of projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over.
- Adaptable to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Be flexible to travel to site and support project commissioning activities for developed solutions.
Essential Criteria
- Electrical/Automation/Control Engineering qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong background across a range of PLC systems
- Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- International site travel is an essential requirement for this position
