Summary
We are looking for a “Radar Engineer (f/m/d)” for the “Radar Concepts and New Products Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Radar Concepts and New Products Engineering” department develops innovative radar systems for unmanned aviation (air cabs, drones).
We create complete prototypes as part of aviation research projects together with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and other partners.
Our goal is to provide innovative radar technology for novel products, especially in the field of unmanned aviation. We support all radar development areas of HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH with specific new radar technology.

Your Tasks

  • Development of a radar anti-collision system for unmanned aviation (autonomous flying)
  • Development and application of machine learning (artificial intelligence) methods for radar signal processing
  • Development of sensor technology for safety-critical aviation applications
  • Development of radar architectures and signal processing algorithms
  • Participation in international radar research conferences

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science or comparable
  • Expertise in the field of radar and radar signal processing is advantageous
  • Programming skills
  • Enthusiasm for technology and research
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good knowledge of German and English
