Job Description
Our group NAS is responsible for the Network Lab of Deutsche Telekom Technik, to offer to all DevOps squads in T-SP , T-CNF or T-IAA a reliable environment. DevOps and Automation teams creating new generation network environment which ensure the future quality. Daily tasks carried out in several virtual Agile squads with German and International colleagues.

Main goal is:

• Perform server, cloud computing and virtualization environment build-outs, software installation, maintenance and support, documentation of operating procedures and processes,
• Troubleshoot virtual hardware and software problems and take appropriate corrective action and/or interact with internal counter parts or vendors in performing complex testing, support, server recovery, and troubleshooting functions,
• Act as a liaison for customer relations and provide technical expertise to other team members,
• In depth system administration experience and knowledge, including operating systems, hardware, storage and networking,
• Housekeeping (identifying and, if necessary, deleting objects that are no longer needed) AD,
• virtualization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, OpenStack)
• Firewall management (Fortinet) ,
• Switching, routing (Cisco, Juniper)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related technical fields such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in computer science,
• Be familiar with the Linux and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge or expereince of cloud providers such as OTC
• Experience with administration and configuration of services like DNS, NTP, Proxy, WSUS and KMS,
• knowledge about UNIX / Linux distributions like Red Hat and Ubuntu, Windows 10, Windows 11 and Server 2019,
• Strong English or German language skills
