Depending on your experiences and skills, this role can be filled either as Associate System Engineer or Senior System Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or comparable science degree
  • Few years of technical experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and/or SAP HCM Payroll
  • Solid understanding of HR and IT HR concepts, specifically, in HR processes for Payroll and Time
  • Understanding of integration technologies within the SAP eco-system and platforms
  • Fluent English; German is highly beneficial.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER:

  • Several years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and/or SAP HCM Payroll in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to engage across different seniority levels; German is highly beneficial
  • Excellent effective and timely decision-making with strong conflict resolution/intervention skills
  • Ability to balance the big picture’s view with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an Associate System Engineer at Boehringer Ingelheim, you will be at the heart of technical and functional conversations around SAP Employee Central Payroll and related topics in SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in fine-tuning both HR and IT operational processes, as well as the technical landscape. This is your chance to leave your mark and create a smoother, more efficient operation.
  • You will also play a key role in bridging the gap between HR and IT stakeholders. Your efforts will ensure operational stability for EC Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central, making a real difference in our day-to-day operations.
  • And that’s not all! You will also have the responsibility of reviewing, estimating, and implementing enhancements to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll. It is an opportunity to constantly learn, grow, and make a tangible impact.
