Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW

The Engineering, Parks and Environment department requires a Regular Full Time System Liaison Specialist.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have a certificate in an engineering related discipline, computer systems, and/or business administration, supplemented by experience with asset and work management systems, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Courses in database concepts, data science, business analysis and report writing, plus related work experience will be considered assets. You will also have demonstrated knowledge of municipal engineering and asset management processes and concepts and the ability to explain these concepts to others.
Experience with Infor-Hansen, Peoplesoft, life-cycle analysis tools, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, MS Office, GIS and/or other asset management systems would be assets.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Policy, Planning & Analysis, you will be involved with analytical and administrative work related to the on-going implementation and maintenance of an asset and work management system. You will liaise with system users and the Information Technology Department on the implementation of system modules; analyze and document business processes, and recommend modifications and improvements; provide guidance and ongoing support to users; and act as project lead on the implementation of specific system modules.
Your excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines, together with your proven interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, in particular with facilitating multidisciplinary teams, will ensure success in this position.
