Job description
Responsibilities:
The System, Product Enhancement and Continuous Improvement Lead is a key role at the centre of the Data and Insight Hub (DIH) Function, leading the implementation of the Demand Management element of the DIH Operating Model, including; the design, implementation and maintenance of system and product enhancements to enable a self-servicing Analytics and Insights approach for people information.
We are looking for a motivated analyst to work in a challenging and exciting new team. You’ll be responsible for driving forward topics and capabilities that span across the whole of the customer experience of an array of people data products.
Activities and projects will include; user story development, experimentation and feature testing, DIH portal development and application performance, development and upgrades. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Systems and Product Enhancement, you’ll engage and coach both analytical and non-analytical teams across the Department in adopting product development Technical Standards, skills and expertise and contribute toward a data-led culture within the Chief People Officer Group.
Reporting to the Head of Data and Insights Service you will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the Department, including Data Champions, Data Stewards, Justice Digital and SMEs. You will also work with business and technical stakeholders who are delivering process and technical changes to ensure that people insights and practices are a fundamental consideration for any change initiative that uses people data.
As a member of the Business Architecture and Transformation (BAT) directorate leadership cadre, you will play a key role embedding new approaches, enhancing the reputation of people-related analysis and building our capability.
