YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A technical sales guru who masters both the technical as well as the commercial aspects of the solutions you have been selling.
  • 10+ years combined sales, sales engineer, technical pre-sales experience gained from an IT / Building Automation industry / IoT / Lighting Industry
  • A wide network in the retail sector (particularly within the large format retailer subsegment) as well as hospitality sector in NSW. You have close connections with key stakeholders such as real estate owners, hotel operators, large retailers, architects, consultants and interior designers.
  • Proven track-record in solution selling, knowledge of value based selling principles and you annually outperform your sales targets.
  • (Smart) lighting selling experience or understanding of IoT selling eco-system is preferred
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • A team player mindset and excitement to bring the entire business to the next level

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, expanding and growing our SMART lighting business in the Retail and Hospitality segment across the entire Australia with a focus on NSW.
  • Execute sales strategy and deliver sales targets in the context of local market trends and opportunities together with your sales colleagues.
  • Develop, maintain and improve long-term partnership with customers with target to establish Signify as a preferred lighting solutions provider.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your customers and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Internally, lead the transformation of Signify as we are becoming the world’s largest smart lighting solution provider.
  • Hunt for brand new opportunities in the retail and hospitality segment in Australia.
  • And everything else which comes with the role of a modern sales person; documenting the sales pipeline & visits in CRM software, ensure timely collection of payments and always be on top of the latest trends and developments in the market. Just to name a few…
