Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We seek a highly skilled computer Vision Engineer to join our engineering time to support the development of image analysis algorithms for the wafer assembly defect inspection process.
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for driving your computer vision projects to meet excellent Recall and Precision using classical or advanced image processing techniques to meet right goals to support Intel yield improvement strategies. The candidate must possess excellent engineering skills, communication skills, out-of-box thinking, and deep knowledge of state-of-the-art image and data processing algorithms.
Responsibilities included but not limited to the followings:
- Evaluate and optimize existing algorithm performances.
- Design and implement new algorithms for new defects
- Data Engineering on large data sets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into product features.
- Ensure that all software code and documentation meet the highest quality and security standards.
- Work with factory yield /automation teams to identify new technologies to improve the results with minimal cost
- Excellent negotiation skills with module tool owners and vendors to test the algorithms

KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCE LISTED BELOW WOULD BE OBTAINED THROUGH A COMBINATION OF YOUR SCHOOLWORK AND/OR CLASSES AND/OR RESEARCH AND/OR RELEVANT PREVIOUS JOB AND/OR INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCES.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PHD in Engineering and/or Physics
- Experience in one or more of the following: Machine learning and deep learning experience, Programming skills in Python, Computer vision algorithm development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer Vision engineering
- Programming skills (JMP scripting, Python, C#, and SQL)
- Machine learning, Deep learning experience in image processing
- Hands-on experience in traditional advanced image processing, deep learning, and a fundamental understanding of the inner workings is expected.
- Experienced in Intel Factory automation systems such as SPC, SQL Pathfinder, Klarity, and Networking, Process flow is an added advantage.
- Web development skills in the backend and frontend is a plus.
