REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

• Education and Working Experience:Bachelor (ideally with at least 3 years of industrial experience), or Masters Degree (ideally with at least 2 years of industrial experience) in Robotics related or Engineering fields

• Qualifications/Skills

• Hands-on experience in developing and execution of hardware in-the-loop robotic system test and data collection
• Experience in data analysis, writing and presentation of experimental results
• Knowledge of robotic systems, sensors, control systems, and automation
• Familiarity with imaging, computer vision, and AI/ML algorithms
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python
• Programming experience in Linux
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills
• (Preferred) Experience in automation of robotic or electro-mechanical system test
• (Preferred) Experience in medical device development or supporting the regulatory approval process such as FDA(Preferred) Experience with version control software such as Git

• Responsibilities:

• Design and execute tests and data collection of robotics systems that are developed for Ophthalmic procedures
• Identify and investigate failure points of the systems to improve the performance and safety
• Establish and maintain test protocols
• Document experiment procedures and results, and perform data analysis
• Communicate with team members on experimental results
