Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. This is on site at the client’s office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
  • 5+ years of relevant systems administration experience
  • Must have significant Relativity experience including the creation of ARM’s (Archive/Restore/Move)
  • Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in actually doing the work on the systems being used, usually at least five years of such experience
  • Requires broad knowledge of the Government’s IT environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • The ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important, as will the demonstrated ability to analyze the attorneys’ needs, and to design and implement a whole system solution responsive to those needs

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • US citizenship, requiring a background check.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance

Responsibilities:

  • May develop and implement new standards, policies, and procedures
  • Develops, implements, and promotes standard operating procedures and schedules
  • Under general oversight, performs complex network configuration and software installations, patches, and upgrades
  • Plans and implements the modernization of networks and software servers, containers, and systems
  • Experienced working with VMware, Virtual Machines, VPC architecture and managing on-premises servers
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations, and servers
  • Monitors system performance, security, data integrity, and optimal use of resources
  • Performs diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
  • May provide work leadership for lower level practitioners
