Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver passionate about driving organizational success? Join us as our Systems Administrator, SharePoint and Cloud, where you’ll be instrumental in managing and enhancing JIBC’s digital ecosystem. As the primary point of contact for SharePoint Online and internal subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, you’ll be responsible for administration of these systems, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and innovation. Your responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, while ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems like Identity and Access Management via Active Directory and Entra ID.
Your strategic mindset will be essential as you collaborate with cybersecurity and risk and compliance owners to guarantee secure external sharing and data collaboration agreements. Additionally, you’ll develop, implement, and maintain robust processes, procedures, standards, and methodologies to support JIBC’s online capabilities. You’ll analyze the technology needs of our organization to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for innovative SharePoint-backed solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
As a key member of our Technology Services team, you’ll guide projects and change management initiatives, streamline activities within Microsoft 365 through automation and workflows, and work directly with end users to support our cloud platforms. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in SharePoint Online administration/migration.
- Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and related cloud technologies
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate) are an asset
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online governance best practices
- Familiarity with automation and system maintenance through PowerShell scripts etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory integration
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and translate business requirements into technical requirements effectively and efficiently.
- Strong collaboration, analytical and report writing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams, with flexibility for a variety of team dynamics and locations.
- Knowledge of project management, service management, change management methodologies, holding a related designation or demonstrated path to achieving a designation is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to provide ingenuity and innovative solutions when problem solving.
