About the role
This is a brand-new opportunity in a newly formed squad, the role will support an agile squad in the Join value stream, which has a mission to help ensure that existing ANZ customers can easily, and safely, join ANZ Plus whilst ensuring a great customer experience and overall compliance. This extends upon in market propositions and introduces a new suite of capabilities to help motivate customers to make the move, remove friction and get them up and running with ANZ Plus.
There is an expectation that you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced software engineering setting alongside product owners, engineers, architects, and testers to drive capabilities that are forward looking, that will enable us to offer a fantastic onboarding.

What will your day look like
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
You will play a leading role in your squad ensuring that it is clear on requirements and priorities and is aligned to customer & business value.
As well as the usual system analyst responsibilities of requirements elicitation, process analysis, managing squad backlogs, and working with initiative and release leads you will also:
Partner with product owners to prepare feature roadmaps for your squad aligned to broader strategy and program objectives.
Join forces with architects, engineers, ANZ Plus platform teams, and external bank areas to complete solution designs.
Collaborate with technical product owners and engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad.
Work with internal technology, security, and risk partners to ensure our solutions are secure and well-managed.
Actively monitor operation of platforms and propositions to ensure they continue meet SLO’s.

What will you bring?
Business acumen and a commercial mindset to ensure solutions deliver business value.
Experience working hands-on within agile, cross-functional, continuous delivery software engineering teams.
Strong interest and grasp of technical concepts and practices.
Experience working with Architecture and Engineering leads to complete solution designs including, API design, Data modelling, Process modelling, System interaction modelling / sequence diagrams
End-to-end delivery experience of complex system initiatives.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

Identity & Access Management & Customer and Account Origination domain knowledge.
Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence concepts (KYC, AML)
Financial Services domain knowledge.
Working in a regulated environments - Information Security, Compliance and Operational requirements for banking systems.
Experience with Cloud Technologies and concepts.
Knowledge of Observability Practices and Tools (e.g. Splunk
