Description:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
To be successful in the role the candidate will have more than five (5) years of directly related IT experience that demonstrates the following:
- Strong business analysis skills with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in project management or technical leadership roles.
- Proficiency in contemporary scripting and coding languages, particularly in the context of web applications. Experience with ColdFusion is considered advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to conduct thorough research on systems issues and products when necessary.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading planning sessions with team members and end users.
- Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Aptitude for working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Strong customer service orientation with experience in a collaborative work environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING
The successful candidate will also have completed:
- College diploma in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering
Responsibilities:
THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Consult with management and end users to assess system needs and requirements.
- Analyze business processes, anticipate needs, and develop/implement solutions for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and ensure effective technology utilization.
- Design system proposals, workflows, database structures, and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal/external teams for data migration and system interfaces.
- Manage projects, track progress, and adhere to project management best practices.
- Provide software application support, troubleshoot issues, and suggest enhancements.
- Ensure front-end and back-end functionality of applications, including web development tasks.
- Manage content management system (CMS) for website maintenance and updates.
- Conduct coding, testing, and assist with user acceptance testing for web applications.
- Manage code migration and application updates for both software and web systems.
- Address helpdesk escalations, identify root causes, and liaise with vendors.
- Maintain configuration records and schedule application and website updates.
- Provide support and training to user experience, development, and testing teams.
- Develop business intelligence tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Design and develop organizational-wide data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Analyze data from various sources and communicate results and recommendations to management and users.
