SYSTEMS ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Richmond Olympic Oval is a renowned indoor multi-sport center and fitness facility in Richmond for community members and visitors and is home to the immersive Richmond Olympic Experience Museum. The Innovation & Technology team is responsible for the design, implementation, continuous improvements, and maintenance of technology to support the Richmond Olympic Oval, and we are seeking a Systems Analyst to join the team. As the Systems Analyst, you will support our users with the hardware and productivity tools to work securely and effectively. You will also be supporting a variety of technology at our facility to provide reliable and secure operations.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience working in an intermediate technical role.
- Technical skills, including:
- Microsoft Windows server and desktop OS
- Microsoft 365 Administration – SharePoint / Teams /Office / OneDrive
- Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Access Control
- Identity solutions using SSO, MS Authenticator / passwordless authentication
- Device Management using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Configuration Profiles, Conditional Access Policies
- Security management using Microsoft Defender, Arctic Wolf
- Nutanix servers, Palo Alto firewall, Aruba switches
- Experience working with client-facing and back-of-house business applications.
- Able to understand and produce technical manuals, procedural documentation.
- Strong customer-service approach.
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

- Successfully complete a Criminal Record Check
- Certified in ITIL Foundation is an asset

Salary and Benefits: $72,546 - $90,684 (dependent on experience and qualifications). Work Schedule: Hybrid. Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:
The Systems Analyst is a Level 2 resource, primarily responsible for:
- Design, implement, maintain, and support the technology services for Richmond Olympic Oval users.
- Create efficiencies within business applications as well as the ongoing management of these applications and the respective devices.
- Assist the L1 team of support specialists with escalations of complex issues.
- Work with our end users to plan, improve and provide training to staff members on innovative solutions.
- Proactively research and evaluate new technology to further improve service offerings.
