Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

This role offers customer-centric support to DevelopmentWA’s workforce, focusing on computer infrastructure, software, communication systems, and information systems. Responsibilities include resolving incidents, working closely with the ICT Customer Support Officers, and following direction from key personnel like the Systems Analyst and the Systems and Services Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide first-line support for staff and contractors using DevelopmentWA ICT infrastructure.
  • Offer second-line support for fault rectification and problem management with desktop and information system issues.
  • Assist in evaluating, planning, executing, and testing desktop hardware or software upgrades.
  • Conduct routine auditing, monitoring, and testing to maintain system performance.
  • Monitor and maintain version and licensing compliance of information system and software.
  • Gather and report system statistics.
  • Assist in the administration of security controls.
  • Aid in developing, refining, and documenting knowledge, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide coverage as part of the ICT team to ensure effective system integration and implementation.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Proven ICT customer support experience with strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop software and hardware, and SOE deployments.
  • Experience in administering core business systems or ERP solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a focus on customer satisfaction
