About the role: Join our highly skilled Moranbah Electrical team as a Systems Cable Jointer. This role ensures Control, Communications and Signalling Cable Systems remain safe and continue to operate within safety and operational performance standards.
The roster for this position will be 8 days on 6 days off. You will also be required to complete on call duties on a scheduled basis. Your main responsibilities will be:
- To conduct routine and corrective maintenance and also fault repair in accordance with prescribed methods.
- To record all maintenance and fault repair activities as conducted.
- To deliver tasks in a safe manner and ensure equipment continues operation in a safe and effective manner.
- To identify cable systems condition and report any issues deemed to be of concern.
- To participate actively with stakeholders to further develop maintenance and repair methods to deliver control, communications and signalling cable systems operation where any failures have minimal impact on train operations.
