Job Description:
Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced lead systems engineer/analyst to support Tactical Missile System (TACS) initiatives in a team centric environment on Redstone Arsenal. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
The position consists of managing team and project schedules, resources, and contract hours and funding. The candidate must also be capable of supporting and executing modeling and simulation integration efforts, contributing to analysis tool development, pre- and post-flight data generation, and algorithm testing and analysis. Some travel may be required in support of flight tests.
Experience with IR and/or RF phenomenology, target signatures, digital simulation integration and execution, and knowledge of verification and validation (V&V) processes preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees, customers, management, and peers.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary team comprised of government and sub-contractors.
  • Experience developing and presenting briefings, presentations, and written reports to senior military and government civilian personnel.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS *

  • Experience with IR and/or RF phenomenology and target signatures.
  • Strong understanding of software integration, modeling and simulation, and verification and validation (V&V) processes.
  • Advanced leadership/management-related training.
    Position requires that candidate meets requirements to obtain a final security clearance to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
